TASTING NOTES
Good concentration of red strawberry scented fruit and earthy flavours, with subtle hints of smoky oak on the nose.

IN THE CELLAR
Pinotage, a variety developed in South Africa, produces wines unique to the Cape. This excellent example of the Pinotage cultivar captures the fruit and body which is typical of the variety. The cool climate ensures that the flavour is more typical of the Pinot Noir parent with the fuller body from the Cinsaut parent is also apparent. Matured in small barrels, 2nd and 3rd fill.
