焼鳥倶楽部



東横線学芸大学駅近くにある「焼鳥倶楽部」



低く小さなドアを腰をかがめながら店内に入ると、そこにはコの字型に配置されたカウンター席が25席くらい。



お店のお薦めはレバーなのですが、私のお気に入りはダンゼン”つくね”! ここにはつくねを食べに行くと言ってもいいくらい。



一口食べると、やわらかいつくねとタマゴの黄身と甘いタレが一気にからみ合って、超〜絶妙!!



本当においしい~♪



他の焼き鳥はもちろん、焼き鳥以外のメニューもハズレなしで手ごろな値段。
焼酎の種類も結構豊富^^



ただ、レバーは売り切れのときもあるそうです・・・

じゃがポックル♪



北海道限定、通販でも売り切れ続出の「じゃがポックル」。

ネットオークションでは定価以上の値が付いていたりと・・・



Getしたよ~!! 



といっても、空港で半日も並んでくれたらしく、、ムリムリ買ってきてもらっちゃった^^



カンジンのお味は、、


味付けははあっさりの塩味で食間がホクホクっといった感じかな。

じゃがいものうまみが感じられる素朴な味といったところ。



クオリティーは確かに高いと思うけど、正直、何でこんなに入手困難なのかは・・???

空港の販売店では各店舗によって、入荷時間が異なるらしく、、

入荷時間さえ入手すれば、「じゃがポックル」をGetできるかも。

といっても、どの店舗も販売開始前から長蛇の列が出来ているらしい・・・

水餃子にゴキブリ・・・!!



初投稿なのに・・
ゴキブリ話なんてと思ったけど、有名店でそれはないかなぁって。。



羽根付き焼き餃子で有名な蒲田のニーハオ。
餃子特集があると、必ずといっていいほど紹介され、、
有名店らしく、店内には芸能人の写真も多数飾られていました。 (写真はゴキブリが発見される前)
                                       
                                     
早速、焼き餃子・海老入り水餃子&ビールをオーダー。
やっぱり、餃子とビールの相性は最高^^と思いつつ、
焼き餃子を完食し、水餃子も残り3個となった時点で、、
茶色い物体が餃子と餃子の間に・・・


なんと、ゴキブリでした!!!


すぐに、お店の人を呼んで(店長らしき感じの人)、
そのゴキブリが入った餃子のお皿を見せると、
「すみません」や「ごめんなさいの」と言った謝罪の一言もなく、
そのお皿を厨房に持って行き、何やらシェフに向かって中国語で怒鳴っていました。


それから、私達の所へ来て謝るわけでもなく、他の人の所へ普通に料理を運んでいました。
しばらくして、、
「すみませんねー」と感情のない声で新しい水餃子を持ってやってきました。
もちろん、その水餃子は一口も口をつけませんでした。
というか、つけられませんでした。


水餃子にゴキブリが入っていたという事は、それを茹でた鍋にゴキブリが入っていたと考えるのが 妥当ですよね・・・
そう考えると気持ち悪いというか、そんなのを通り越して・・
もちろん、食欲もなくなり、すぐにお店をでました。
水餃子の代金が引かれているわけでもなく、会計の際にもお店の人に謝罪されるでもなく・・・


料理に虫が入っていたことも飲食店として許せませんが、
お店の人のその対応にも本当にびっくりというか、ありえないですね。
超有名店だから、1皿ぐらい虫が入っていてもいいのでしょうか?
味は一流かもしれませんが、最低限のホスピタリティのないお店なんて最低ですね!!


ニーハオの餃子はわざわざ遠方からも食べに来る方もいると聞きましたが、
私のような思いをする人がいないようにと思い、思い切って書きました。
もちろん、私は二度と行きません。


行かれる方、もしかしたらゴキブリ入りの餃子を食べる事になるかも・・・!?

TASTING NOTES
This is a typical cool climate Pinotage, loads of Pinot Noir character - red berry flavour, strawberries and red cherries, with a slight earthy character. Smooth texture, well rounded wood integration. This wine has not been stabilized or filtered.

IN THE VINEYARD
Climate: Mediterranean - Wonderful cool breezes coming from the Indian Ocean as well as the Atlantic Ocean. With an average rainfall of 1100 mm per annum. Although the weather this year was much cooler compared to last year.Soil type: Glenrosa soil with good water retention and a bit of Longkloof. Southern facing slope of Gelenroa. Average age of the vines about 8 years.

THE HARVEST
Picked Mid March at 24-24.5º Balling, yield approximately 8 tons per hectare.

IN THE CELLAR
Fermented dry on the skins for 5 days. 63% New French oak Barrels and the balance 2nd and 3rd fill with 15% American Oak for 12 months.

AGEING POTENTIAL
The wine is drinkable now and can still keep for a number of years.

Roasted Karoo lamb with honey and mustard crust. Crusty Pizza with tomato, green peppers and ham, crostini topped with olive tapenade and fresh tomato. Ostrich steak.

TASTING NOTES
Pinotage enjoys the cool climate of the valley. It has a good concentration of strawberry jam, lovely earthy flavours with subtle hints of smokiness on the nose. The tannins are lovely and soft and therefore drinkable quite early.Serving suggestion: Oxtail and Cape Bredie and a Steak.

IN THE VINEYARD

Pinotage, a variety developed in South Africa, produces wines unique to the Cape. This excellent example of the Pinotage cultivar captures the fruit and body which is typical of the variety. This medium to full bodied wine with intense colour and character, is very prominent of its parents (Hermitage and Pinot Noir) due to cool climate of the Constantia Valley. Good concentration of strawberry jam as well as subtle smokiness.

IN THE CELLAR
The wine is fermented dry on the skins for 5 days. New, 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels.

AGEING POTENTIAL
The tannins are lovely and soft and therefore drinkable now, but enough to give it some ageing potential (± 5 years).

IN THE CELLAR
The wine fermented in rototanks and limited maceration was allowed before pressing and malolactic fermentation. In order to preserve the natural berry character of Pinotage the wine matured in second and third fill barrels (500litres) for 16 months. The blend was made from a variety of clones of the varietals to add complexity to the easy drinking style.
